The Barwa Bank Qatar Charity co-branded credit card makes doing good just one purchase away for its holders, as Barwa Bank will donate to the charity on behalf of the co-branded credit card holder each and every time they use the card, at no extra cost.

Charity Payments

With every transaction on this card, Barwa Bank will pay a certain amount to Qatar Charity. This payment will be made from the Bank’s income and will not be charged to the customer. The charity payment is linked with the transaction amount eg- if a customer has purchased clothing worth QAR 10,000, the Bank will pay 25% of its income on that transaction to Qatar Charity, which in this case stands at QAR 46. Therefore as the volumes increase the amount of charity increases proportionally.

Loyalty Points

In addition to the charity payment, one loyalty point will be earned for every QAR 15 worth of purchases on the card. These loyalty points could then be redeemed across all the available options with the bank.
