Barwa Bank launches the new mobile banking application
Doha, Qatar, February 10 2019: Barwa Bank the most innovative Shari’ah compliant bank in Qatar has announced the launch of its mobile application for all customers to meet their daily financial needs.
Barwa Bank new mobile application can be used on smart devices and is compatible with both IOS and Android. The new application is designed to offer customers speed, efficiency and maximum security while accessing their accounts and executing the banking transactions.
This application includes new services and features including Barwa Bank rewards, money transfer with Western Union and cardless cash withdrawal services.
With Barwa Bank Rewards, customers can now view their loyalty points and redeem at a wide range of redemption options including booking flights or hotel bookings, car rentals or shopping. They can also transfer their loyalty points to Qatar Airways, Nojoom or Shukran.

The cardless cash withdrawal service is a local money transfer service available on Barwa Bank’s mobile application that gives customers the convenience to send money to any beneficiary in Qatar. All that a customer needs to know is the mobile number of the person he/she is transferring money to, within Qatar. The new app also includes a facility to directly transfer donations to local charities.
Furthermore the new mobile application allows customers to manage their credit or debit cards; they can activate and stop the card at any time using the application. When travelling abroad, the new app allows the user to change the PIN number of debit and credit cards and to also make payments on the account of minors linked in parents account.
