Credit Card Protection
- EMERGENCY MEDICAL EVACUATION & REPATRIATION
In the event of an accident or sudden illness, that is not pre-existing and which is acute, the Company will take charge of transferring the Card Holder to a properly equipped health centre or repatriating to his/her usual country of residence.
- MEDICAL EXPENSES AND HOSPITALIZATION ABROAD
In the event of illness or injury of the Card Holder occurring outside the Usual Country of Residence, The Company will pay the necessary and reasonable costs of hospitalization, surgery, medical fees and pharmaceutical products, prescribed by the attending doctor.
- PERSONAL ACCIDENT DURING TRAVEL
Protection covers accidents the Card Holder may suffer at the means of transport used during the trip, including public means of transport (taxis, buses, microbuses, coaches) used by the Card Holder to get from his usual place of residence to the boarding point (airport, sea port, bus station) and from the point of arrival to the place of accommodation, as well as the return journey under the same conditions.
- PERSONAL LIABILITY
The Company guarantees the Card Holder to pay the compensation for which the Card Holder may be civilly liable by law, for bodily or material damages caused involuntarily to third parties and products, subject to terms and conditions of the Takaful contract.
- COMPENSATION FOR IN-FLIGHT LOSS OF CHECKED-IN BAGGAGE
The Company will supplement the compensation for which the carrier is liable up to a limit, for the collection of baggage and possessions checked in by each Card Holder, in the event of loss during the carriage by air performed by the carrier Company.
- LOSS OF MONEY
The Company will compensate the Card Holder, up to the limit provided, in the event that the Card Holder, during the Period of Protection, should lose his/her money while:0
- Being physically carried on his/her person.
- Left in a hotel safety box.
- COMPENSATION FOR DELAY IN THE ARRIVAL OF LUGGAGE
In the event of a delay of more than 6 hours in delivering the baggage checked in, since the arrival of the flight on an IATA Member Airline, the Company will cover up to a limit specified schedule of benefits, to purchase prime necessity items that are indispensable while the Card Holder awaits the arrival of the delayed baggage.
- LOSS OF MONEY:
The Company shall reimburse the Card Holder any cash carried with the cards when these were stolen or lost abroad. This amount shall not exceed 2000 US$ a year.
- FLIGHT CANCELLATION:
The Company will meet the cost of the reimbursement, of the trip cancellation expenses charged to the Card Holder and invoiced to him/her in application of the general conditions of sale of his/her provider.
- FLIGHT DELAY:
When the departure of the common carrier contracted by the Card Holder for travelling is delayed by at least 12 hours, the Company, shall reimburse any additional expenses incurred (transport and hotel accommodation, as well as meals) as a result of the said delay.
- FLIGHT HIJACK
The Company will pay the Card Holder a distress compensation up to the limit provided for every 24 hour during which any common carrier in which he/she is travelling has been hijacked.
